I took a chance and ordered this skirt, I held my breath when it arrived. When I opened the package, I held my breath again.........it is beautiful. The issue re the waist band...there is no waistband. I have other skirts with the same cut. Can not wait to wear it with a beautiful gold top..........

Bad cut
This would be a fantastic skirt if not the most awkward cut: the waist is almost the same width as the hips. I have a straight body and while the skirt fits great in the hips, I can literally put my fist between the skirt's waist and my stomach. The fabric is so nice that I decided to wear it anyway - I am rolling up the belt and will hide it under a top or a jacket - but if you have an hour-glass figure, I am afraid this won't work for you at all.
