Returns and Exchanges

EXTENDED Return & Exchange Policy for IN STORE PURCHASES due to store closures

Each of our stores will accept returns and exchanges for 14 days followings the store’s reopening. This applies to all initial purchases made after November 1, 2020.

In-store Purchases

  • Please ensure the original ticket is attached and that you're able to present a valid receipt/e-receipt.
  • Note that FINAL SALE items are not eligible for a refund.
  • Refunds will be issued with the method of payment used at the time of purchase.
  • Items must be unworn. Altered merchandise will not be refunded or exchanged.

SWIMWEAR

We are pleased to accept returns or exchanges of swimwear within 14 days of purchase. In order to be eligible for a return or exchange, swimwear items must be unworn and unwashed, in their original packaging, with tags and hygienic lining still attached. We ask that customers try on swimwear items while wearing their undergarments, and we reserve the right to refuse any return or exchange of swimwear items if the required guidelines are not met.

FINAL SALE ITEMS

These items are considered Final Sale and will not be eligible for refund or exchange:

  • Items such as underwear, shapewear, earrings, hats, slippers, hosiery, tights, and socks are considered Final Sale for hygienic reasons.
  • Any purchase made at a Laura or Melanie Lyne liquidation store.
  • Special occasion wear is considered FINAL SALE. These items cannot be refunded or exchanged unless they are unworn and the “Thank you!” tag remains attached to the merchandise.
  • Gift Cards
  • Items reduced to 50% or more off the original ticketed price (if ordered ONLINE or a CUSTOMER ORDER, they can be exchanged IN-STORE or ONLINE, or you may receive a refund on a gift card).

PRICE ADJUSTMENTS

Upon presentation of the receipt/e-receipt, we will grant one price adjustment within 14 days of the order date. Items reduced to 50% or more off the originally listed price are not eligible for a price adjustment.

Online & In-store Orders (Customer Orders)

  • Please ensure the original tag is attached and that you're able to present a valid receipt/e-receipt.

  • Refunds will be issued to the method of payment used on the order. Please note that in-store refunds for merchandise purchased online with PayPal, gift cards, style rewards or Sezzle may take longer to process.

  • Merchandise purchased online with a mobile payment (ex. PayPal, virtual card) should be returned by mail in order to credit the account. Mobile payment purchases can also be returned in person at one of our Laura or Melanie Lyne stores but, in these instances, we're only able to issue a refund on a gift card.

  • Special occasion wear can be exchanged or refunded when ordered online or purchased in-store, only if the items have not been worn and the “Thank you!” tag remains attached to the merchandise.
  • Items reduced to 50% or more off the originally listed price can be exchanged in-store or online, or you may receive a refund on a gift card.

Ensure that the original labels and tags are attached. Items must be unworn. Please ensure that the items are returned by mail within 14 days of the delivery date. Altered merchandise will not be refunded or exchanged.

You are welcome to return your online order free of charge within 14 days of the delivery date at any Laura or Melanie Lyne store. Our Laura and Melanie Lyne liquidation stores do not accept any online returns.

We will not accept in-person returns or exchanges at our Head Office.

Process

Refund or exchange an online/in-store purchase at a store:

Bring the receipt/e-receipt, along with the purchased items you wish to return, to the Laura or Melanie Lyne store nearest you within 14 days of the delivery date. Refunds are issued with the method of payment used for the in-store/online purchase. Please note that in-store refunds for merchandise purchased online with PayPal, gift cards, style rewards or Sezzle may take longer to process.

Please note that we do not accept online order returns at any of our Laura and Melanie Lyne liquidation stores.

Return an online order by mail:

Ship the items you wish to return within 14 days of the delivery date, along with your receipt. Please be sure to indicate the reason for the return.

Price Adjustments

If you cannot visit our stores to request a price adjustment for an online order, you must call us at 1-877-973-8638 (MON-FRI 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST and SAT-SUN 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST), or send a detailed email to contact@melanielyne.com. Upon request, the credit will be issued with the original method of payment within 30 days. Please note that in-store price adjustments for merchandise purchased online with PayPal, gift cards, style rewards or Sezzle may take longer to process

Gift Card

The use of Laura/Melanie Lyne gift cards is subject to the rules printed on the cards themselves and outlined on laura.ca and melanielyne.com. A Laura/Melanie Lyne gift card is a Final Sale purchase and is redeemable in-store only at any Laura or Melanie Lyne location. Laura/Melanie Lyne gift cards are sold in-store in any denomination and online for $25, $50, $75, $100, $150, $200 and $250. A limit of $1,000 is set per order.

There is no tax on the purchase of a Laura/Melanie Lyne gift card.

Laura Canada offers free shipping Canada-wide for any gift card online order, with no minimum purchase required. Free shipping applies only when purchasing gift cards. When merchandise is added to the order, you may be charged for shipping depending on the sub-total of your online order. Gift card orders are shipped by Canada Post standard service.
